Navratri Celebration at NITSAN - 2023

23 Oct 2023

The favourite time of the year for all Gujaratis is here! At NITSAN Technologies, we celebrated this auspicious festival with great excitement and joyful celebrations. Our team came together to embrace the spirit of Navaratri, spreading happiness and harmony. The vibrant colours, rhythmic beats of the dhol, and the graceful Garba and Dandiya dances filled the atmosphere with energy and enthusiasm.

Navaratri is one of the most important and major nine-day festivals, which marks the arrival of Maa Durga and Maa Chamunda. The significance of Navratri lies in its mythological and spiritual importance. According to Hindu mythology, these nine days and nights were the battle between Maa Durga and the demon Mahishasura. On the tenth day, Dussehra is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil.

Garba Sthapana

The "Garba Sthapana" is a significant ritual that marks the beginning of Navratri, the nine-night Hindu festival celebrated with enthusiasm and devotion.

This Year We Celebrate Navratri at NITSAN's office. Maa Ambe arrived with her blessing at our office to shower their grace upon us, with rituals and with a pot inside a Lamp, which is called Garbo in Gujarati. We welcome Maa Ambe to our office to seek her blessing. The lantern symbolizes life - the foetus in the womb, in particular. The Pot itself is a symbol of the body, within which divinity resides.

Devotional Adhyashakti Aarti

Adhyashakti Aarti is a devotional hymn dedicated to Maa Ambe, seeking her blessings and protection. We worship Maa with morning and evening aartis, accompanied by offerings of flowers, jaggery, and sweets. And chanting “Maa Ambe ki Jai !”

Glimpse of NDD - NITSAN Dandiya Delights

Every Gujarati's festival is incomplete without Garba, and Navratri, in particular, holds a special place in our hearts. During this joyous time, we come together to celebrate by playing Garba, a traditional dance form that unites us in a vibrant celebration. The spirit of Navratri is embodied in the rhythm of the Garba, and it is a time for us to revel in the rich cultural traditions of our state. Garba is not just a dance; it is a reflection of our culture and heritage. It's a beautiful blend of vibrant colors, intricate traditional attire, and rhythmic footwork.

At NITSAN, we all came together to play Garba with our entire team, joyously dancing around the "garbo" . This special gathering was not just a celebration but also a beautiful reflection of our unity and teamwork. Finally, we concluded the event with a team photoshoot, capturing the memories of this joyous occasion.
