NITSAN Code Sprint 2022

Team NITSAN organized Code Sprint, where all the developers took part actively. This was a three-day event that started with planning the event from scratch and the last day was our result day, where we announced the winners and the best performers. Furthermore, we also appreciated them with badges and gifts to recognize their achievements and efforts.

On the first day, the team spent time planning the Sprint and all the tasks that needed to be executed after that. Tasks were then assigned accordingly. This isn’t the first time NITSAN has organized a Code Sprint. In 2019, we sponsored our first TYPO3 Sprint, which was a huge success.

Now going back to our Code Sprint 2.0, let us see what we did in this brief report.

We had two teams that were given tasks according to their current work. The Extension team prepared a new Base Extension for the Developer name ns_t3dev while the Frontend team worked on multiple aspects listed below.

Next, the team was subjected to presentations on Javascript, its features, and some Interpersonal skills that Developers require in the work environment by Mr. Kapil Sahitya. Later we had a presentation by Ms. Krishna Dhapa regarding multiple quality skills that were developed that are required by developers, such as task execution process, QA, planning for other weekly tasks, and others.

Apart from all the coding tasks and challenges, we also organized some general tasks that were meant to be fun and to get to know each other in the team. We played an Online TYPO3 Quiz and 2 Truth and 1 False game. It was all Fun!

After we were done with the execution day, we announced the winners and the best performers among all. Although everyone performed well in the tasks they were assigned, some were excellent and hence were given badges for the same.

As we mentioned earlier, our first code Sprint event in 2019 was a big hit that allowed us to work on Code Sprint 2.0.
