Celebrate Navratri 2024 with Team NITSAN!

03 Oct 2024

Navratri, a vibrant and colorful festival, brings joy and energy to the workplace at NITSAN every year. This year, in 2024, we celebrated Navratri with full enthusiasm, blending our cultural traditions with a fun and festive atmosphere in the office. From beautiful decorations to the energetic Garba dance, the celebration was truly special.
Let’s take you through how we celebrated this year's Navratri!

Welcoming Navratri with Glass Paintings

To welcome the spirit of Navratri, we started the celebrations by decorating our NITSAN entrance. Our team created beautiful glass paintings of Mataji (Goddess Durga), Kalash (a holy pot symbolizing prosperity), and Dandiya sticks, which represent the essence of Navratri Garba. The intricate designs captured the attention of everyone who walked into the office.
In addition to these Paintings, we also added the words “Shubh Navratri” in Gujarati (શુભ નવરાત્રી) on the glass. This made the entrance feel warm and welcoming, setting the perfect festive mood as soon as anyone entered the office.

Office Decoration with Flowers

No Navratri celebration is complete without decorations, and our office was no different! We decorated the workplace with colorful flowers that made the atmosphere cheerful. The fresh flowers brightened up every corner, filled the air with a nice smell, and made the office look lively and beautiful.

Garba Celebration at Zanzar Bhavnagar

This year, the NITSAN team took the celebration to the next level by planning an outing. On October 4th, 2024, we all visited Zanzar in Bhavnagar, a place known for its vibrant Navratri celebrations. It was a fantastic experience where the entire team participated in the Garba, wearing traditional attire and enjoying the energetic beats of the Dhol.
Garba at Zanzar was truly a memorable experience. Dancing in together with everyone, under the open sky, brought a sense of unity and joy to the whole team. We not only bonded over the festival but also had fun learning new dance moves together.

Final Thoughts on the Festival

As Navratri ended, we finished the celebration on a good note. The whole team gathered for a small closing ceremony. We said our prayers and thanked everyone for a great Navratri celebration. The good energy and happiness from the festival stayed with us, reminding us how important it is to celebrate together as a team.

Dussehra Celebration with Fafda and Jalebi

As Navratri ended, we celebrated Dussehra with a traditional touch. On Dussehra day, the team got together to enjoy popular Gujarati snacks, fafda and jalebi. The crispy fafda with the sweet jalebi was a perfect festive treat.
Dussehra shows the victory of good over evil, and sharing these snacks helped us end the festival with happiness and good vibes. The team enjoyed the food, making it a sweet and memorable end to our celebration.

Conclusion

Navratri at NITSAN in 2024 was a happy time, full of fun, traditions, and togetherness. We decorated the office and danced at Zanzar, making each moment special. Celebrations like these help us enjoy our culture and also bring the team closer, creating a positive and joyful work environment.

We look forward to many more festive celebrations in the coming years, as they bring happiness and create wonderful memories for everyone at NITSAN. Check Openings! At NITSAN, we believe in balancing work with celebrations that bring us closer as a team.
