NITSAN Year End Weekend Trip to Hathab Beach(2023)

Away from the city traffic, crowd and busy routine, Team NITSAN planned a mind-refreshing fun trip to Hathab. The memorable journey started from Ghogha Jakat Naka where we all gathered at around 7.00 am on the 23 December.
Around 8.00 AM, after crossing 27.3 km, we finally got to our destination - Hathab Beach (Bhavnagar). The crisp air carried the invigorating scent of frost, and the landscape sparkled under a delicate blanket of glistening cold air.
Finally, we reached Hathab village farmhouse, where we freshened up and got ready to head to Hathab Beach. But before that, the team took a delicious village breakfast featuring Bhakhari and Chaa, Poha, and Bhavnagari Gathiya. We all enjoyed a healthy breakfast before setting off for the beach.
We started towards to rush to lush nature at around 8.30 am with all the team members. Hathab Beach in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, is known for its serene and picturesque setting.
Games & Fun
After reaching our long-awaited destination, the team enthusiastically initiated a series of fun-filled games, including Cricket, Volleyball, and Pass the Ball, among others. The team immersed themselves in these activities, creating joyous moments and crafting enduring memories during our year-end trip.
And Gujarati is especially known for its Garba, so how could we forget to play Garba? All the members gathered on the beach, With the rhythmic beats of Gujarati Garba filling the air. We joyfully immersed ourselves in the traditional dance, swaying to the vibrant tunes of Garba under the open sky at Hathab Beach.

After 2 hours of beach fun, the team found themselves quite hungry. The members collectively decided to prepare the winter's iconic dish, Olo. Olo is a renowned Kathiyawadi delicacy crafted from ingredients such as brinjals, onions, tomatoes, green chilies, and various spices.
At 11.00 am team returns back to Hathab Farm House, All the people start preparing to make Olo, some of the members bring small sticks and wood pieces from nearby locations, specially our Team Member Arjun Joshi and Navdeepsih Jethwa take responsibility to roast brinjal on fire.
Our other team members were busy chopping tomatoes, onions, chilies, and various vegetables. Included our founders joined the team to prepare the delicious Olo. After chopping all the vegetables, the team started cooking, creating not only a tasty dish but also fun and memorable moments. Finally, the team had lunch, complete with sweets, papads, and salad.
After enjoying some tasty food, team members gathered under the shade of a tree in the farmhouse, chilling with singing songs and capturing moments through a team photoshoot.
With spirits high and memories in tow, we bade farewell to the farmhouse, gearing up for our journey back home.
Finally, we reached Bhavnagar around 4:00 PM !
